coming home at dusk
When I was standing outside my house taking this photo a neighbour walked past and asked if I needed a picture of my house so when I was drunk I could remind myself what it looks like. Well, it may come in handy, but the real reason I took it was because it summed up a feeling of being welcomed home – the glow from the window creating a still life of domestic harmony, contrasting with the blue of the sky just before it fades into dark.
I still haven’t decided what to use this blog for. Diary? Food stuff? Streams of consciousness?
Shawn you are my only reader (which is just fine for now!) – what do you think?

I LOVE that photo … makes me want to come in and be welcomed and get all cosy.
As for what to do with this blog … well, why not diary-food-thoughts thing all together? There ain’t no rules, baby.
When I started casa az I had no idea what I was doing with it. Eventually I started a separate website for food stuff (though it still crosses over) and now I guess I see casa az as a sort of online personal scrapbook. Just about stuff going on in my life, or things I come across that I want to share.
But of course you should have more readers … link to it on Twitter and FB?
I’m quite enjoying it so far. 🙂
